Company Name Change Announcement
We are pleased to inform you that following shareholder approval at our recent Annual General Meeting, the name of our group's parent company, SP Telemedia Limited, has been formally changed to TPG Telecom Limited, effective from 1 December 2009. Our ASX code has also changed from SOT to TPM.

The change of the parent company name does not affect the operations of our group in any manner.

New Convenient Tools in 'Your Account'
TPG have added new convenient self-service tools in 'Your Account', making it easier for our customers to manage their TPG accounts and services.

‘Mobile Service Control Panel’ Tool
You can use this tool to modify your mobile conditions such as activating/deactivating GPRS, International Roaming, SMS, Voicemail, diversions etc. Check it out today by logging into Your Account, then clicking on 'View All Mobile Service Accounts', then clicking on 'Mobile Service Control Panel'.

‘Change Number’ Tool
If you require a new phone number because you have received calls of a harassing nature, you can now request for this online through ‘Your Account’. TPG will supply you with a new phone number free of charge on the first occasion, however, any subsequent phone number changes will be charged at $25 per change.

To apply for a change of number, log into Your Account, click on 'View All Mobile Service Accounts', then click on ‘Change Number’ and fill out the form.

New VoIP Tools
Three new VoIP tools have been created in ‘Your Account’ for Naked with VoIP customers.

  1. ‘VoIP Usage’ Tool – Allows you to check your VoIP call usage at anytime.
  2. ‘Change VoIP Password’ Tool – Allows you to update your VoIP Password online. This is the password entered into your router to access the VoIP service. It is not the password to access the internet or your customer or service details.
  3. ‘VoIP Service Control Panel’ Tool – Allows you to enable/disable different call types such as long distance, mobile, or international calls.
To access the above tools, simply log into Your Account and click on 'View All VoIP Service Accounts' under ‘TPG VoIP Services’.

TPG ADSL2+ Rollout in Western Australia
We are pleased to confirm that our WA DSLAM rollout is progressing very well. At of Wednesday 9th November, 19 Perth exchanges now have ADSL2+ enabled. We plan to have additional exchanges enabled before Christmas and many more in 2010!

TPG Now Has 333 Active ADSL2+ Exchanges

TPG is progressing strongly with our national rollout of ADSL2+ enabled exchanges. As of Wednesday 9th December, 333 exchanges have already been enabled, providing ADSL2+ access to millions of Australians.

Interested in finding out how your ADSL2+ connection speed compares to others in your area?

TPG provides an extensive range of maps and data about your ADSL2+ enabled exchange. These maps provide information on ADSL2+ speed, coverage and distance from the exchange.

You can look up estimated speeds at your exchange or compare data with connections in your area. The data is updated on an hourly basis from real customers' ADSL2+ statistics and so far is provided for all TPG exchanges in NSW, VIC, QLD, ACT and SA.

To use this new feature, simply go to www.tpg.com.au/maps and either click on your exchange or type in your address.
